What we did this week - 19th March

Numeracy this week has been focused on time. We have been learning about night and day. We discussed what things we do in the day and what things we do at night, and talked about night and day animals. We also learnt about a minute and timed ourselves doing different actions for one minute.

 In Literacy this week, we continued learning about 'life cycles'. We sequenced the 'Life Cycle of a Frog' in our books and wrote captions for each stage.

In Topic this week, we read a Charlie and Lola story, 'I will never eat a Tomato' and discussed what food is good for us and what food is bad for us. We also enjoyed painting a butterfly using string and different colours.
